steps to enter the pilot academy.......

i think many of us dream of becoming an airlines pilot...... but the pro is don knw hw to apply for the flying academy....... here is the steps for u guys from me after doing my research abt it........ i think can help u guys lar...... hahahaha.......

Step 1:
successful completion of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM or Malaysian Secondary year 12) or O level or its equivalent for overseas candidates with minimum of 5 credits including English Language, Mathematics and a recognized Science Subject........ n age 17 or above.......

Step 2:
write a letter to Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) in english to tell them u r interested to join pilot courses n wish to apply for entering the pilot academy...... pls remember to add in 1 photostst copy of ur SPM result tat have been certified n after tis send it to........

Step 3:
wait the DCA to issue the LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE....... when u r still waiting for the letter from DCA u can go for ur medical check up 1st...... only the hospital or clinic tat approve by DCA can provide u wif the medical check up special for pilot n air crew....... u can obtain the list of the clinic or hospital of aviation via DCA webside http://www.dca.gov.my/ by clicking (Division > Flight Operation Sector > Flight Operations Notices) then download the (Aviation Medical n List Aviation Doctor)........

Step 3A:
the medical check up will cover:
Eye Test
X-Ray
Physical Test (weight and height)
Audio Test ECG (Electrocardiogram)
Blood Test
Urine Test
after u have pass the medical check up, u will recieve a special cert from the doctor to qualify tat u r healthy to undergo the pilot traning course......

Step 4:
after u recieve the LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE from DCA, now u can find for the flying academy tat u wish to join...... 1st of all u can find it through internet by viewing the pic of the whole academy........ the list of flying academy can be obtain from DCA webside oso...... after u have decide to join 1 of the flying academy...... call the academy to obtain extra info.......
the ques u may need to ask:
1. problem abt money
- deposit
- registration fees
- total fees for the course
- extra fees (uniform, book n etc)
- surcharge of fuel
- if need to extend study need to pay extra fees or nt
- how to pay all the fees
- wher to gt extra financial sponsor

2. registration
- when can we register
- frequently of student intake
- how much student will be taken for each time intake

3. study
- how long is the course
- what we going to study (normally can read through internet lar)

4. needs
- cadet pilot uniform
- reference book
- accomodation
- foods n drinks
- flying accessory

make sure u compare among all the flying academy throughout malaysia abt the fees n paying methods so tat u can decide the best u wan......

Step 5:
after u have decide to join the sch u chooce...... print out the enrollment form from the webside n fill in all the info tat needed by the flying academy...... each flying academy request for diff info...... after tat make a call to the flying academy to make an oppointment wif them n told them u wish to join tat sch n wan to come to send in ur enrollment form.......
don forget to bring along a photostat copy of the LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE tat u hav recieve form DCA......... when the flying academy issue the LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE tat mean u guys have been accepted to join tat sch lar...... but the pro is no place for u guys cz u guys nt yet pay the deposit.........
after u guys paid for the deposit, the flying academy will issue u wif a LETTER OF PLACEMENT...... tat mean they have been reserve a place for u n u r now a formal student for tat academy.......

Step 5A: (if u need some finanacial help to pay ur deposit)
if u guys need some financial help to pay ur deposit, the sch will issue u wif the LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE, wif tis letter u can go to Agrobank to apply for PINJAMAN PENDIDIKAN INSANI...... the max u can gt will be rm100,000.......
if u wish to apply for the help, u will need to pay back all the money u borrow from the bank after u have complete ur course in the time of nt more than 3 month...... n if u wish to apply for it, pls find a co-borrower wif u....... for more info u can visit http://www.agrobank.com.my/ by clicking (pinjaman > pinjaman berjangka > pinjaman pendidikan insani)......

Step 5B:
after u recieve the LETTER OF PLACEMENT from the flying academy...... u guys can nw go to MARA to take 'borang pinjaman pelajaran' to borrow money from them....... fill in the form completely wif all the document they need...... if the officer ask is ther any other sponsor u gt for example (JPA scholarship la, use KWSP to pay for the fees la.....)...... all u have to so is jz keep quite...... don say anything abt tat......
send in ur form then wait for the call for interview....... when interview, don tell them u still study, jz told them u now applying for entering flying academy....... after they give u the sponsor for ur course fees pls make sure them pay on time........

Step 6:
here the last step lar....... u can nw pack all ur luggage n go to the flying academy n register as a student pilot lar.......

wish all of u can enter flying academy successfully lar...... hahahahaha.......
